Dear Alumni:

We have finalized our negotiations with New York New York Hotel/Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. We are awaiting the hotel to provide us the Weblink and Group Code for our group when you log in or call in for room reservation. This will guarantee the rate for MEHS attendees.

As soon as we receive the information, we will post the registration form and all pertinent information with regards to hotel room reservations and registration.

We will hold our event on July 18th and 19th, 2011 (a 2-day event). Many have expressed that a 1-day event was too short for fun and laughter and to meet and catch up with all dear and long-lost friends. Keeping that in mind, the committee has decided that a 2-day event (~8 hr each day) will give us time to meet and chat with all your friends. A relaxing and fun 2 days.

We encourage all alumni to attend and bring your family and friends. Las Vegas is known as the best entertainment city in the world, come and see for yourself and have fun with all the alumni. Please spread the news to other friends who are not aware of our MEHS reunions and have them check out our website: www.mehsa.org for news about other alumni and teachers.

The Announcement of the dates this Major Event which is to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, and details as to the Reunion Registration Fee, are soon to be made.
Please Keep in touch by viewing the MEHSA Website, regularly, and please advise ALL those MEHSers with whom you are in contact.

In the meantime The Reunion Organizing Committee is seeking Volunteers for the Finance Sub-Committee.
I am writing on behalf of the Committee

The Role/Specifications for this are:
Very Simple! You do not have to be an Accountant or a Financial Whiz!

The Objectives: To reduce costs for All Attendees. Costs in having to make these remittances individually, and to countries other than the country of their Residence

1. The collection of the Registration Payments from other Attendees to be sent to one Central Point. Attendees will be advised to send this in USD at the BBR (Bankers Buying Rate) on date of remittance to Consolidating Collector.
2. For You, if you accept to take on this role and agree to assist:
3. For You to receive these by your preferred method of receipt (Cheque/Direct Bank Credit etc.)
4. For You to consolidate these payments and send these to the Nominated MEHS Reunion Bank Account Number, which will be advised to you.
5. For You to maintain who has paid their Registration and advise this when making to remittances
6. For You to do this by the date/dates that is required for 'Reunion Organizing Committee' to make the required payments to Venue-Hotel for The Event, again this/these dates will be advised to you once you nominate. ANNOUNCEMENT OF OUR 5TH INTERNATIONAL REUNION

Dear Alumni:

The organizing committee, after much discussion, has decided to host our 5th International MEHS Reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It will be held in the summer of 2011 instead of 2012 as previously announced.

We are still in the process of negotiations with several hotels/casinos so date and venue cannot be determined presently.

We will periodically post and send emails to our alumni when we have news to keep you posted of our progress. Please check our website for news and announcements.

At present, we will start the "name-our-theme" competition. Please send in your theme and a short note on why you decide on your theme. Please send to our captain, Edwin. We will keep the competition open until we announce the deadline. In the meantime, do put on your thinking cap and join in the fun.

After we have collected all inputs, the committee, headed by our President, Gloria Winthein, and a few others, will pick the winner. Put on your thinking cap and send in your "name-our-theme".
